Contains Potassium Bicarbonate and Potassium Bitartrate in an easy-to-use tartaric acid reduction powder. Used after stabilization and fining. Add 1.2g/L directly to high acid/low pH wine. Wine should be >1.0 T.A./<3.0pH. Stir vigorously for one minute. Reduces T.A. by .1g/L. DO NOT add more than 3 ounces (85g) total to 6 U.S. gallons (23L) of wine. Cold stabilize for two weeks before racking off the tartrate precipitate.
